Full transformation of a detached seafront property, including a beautifully designed orangery.
Project Overview
This full home renovation transformed the property, beginning with building up and levelling multiple existing floor heights before installing elegant oak engineered flooring throughout.
Structural improvements included removing internal walls to create a bright, open‑plan living space and taking out the entrance lobby ceiling to form a striking vaulted feature.
The old orangery was replaced with a modern glass structure, enhancing both natural light and year‑round usability.
The interior was refined with the addition of bead and butt wall cladding, providing a classic texture that complements the new oak flooring, followed by a comprehensive redecoration to tie the spaces together.
To complete the transformation, the entire exterior of the house was reclad in Millboard, and a new slate roof, providing a stylish, modern finish designed to age beautifully against the coastal elements.
The project needed to be delivered within tight timescales to ensure the property could return to the holiday rental market as quickly as possible, requiring careful planning and efficient programme management.
