Extensive renovation of a large detached property with premium bespoke carpentry finishes.
Project Overview
This full-scale renovation involved a complete internal and external overhaul, to align with the homeowners' vision, transforming every room through structural reconfiguration and high-end bespoke joinery.
Key structural works included the removal of internal walls to create a modern open-plan layout and the replacement of a dilapidated lean-to with a new-build extension. This extension successfully reconnected the primary living zones to the garage while redefining the property’s flow with a new entrance and front door installation. A separate utility room was fitted, complete with a dog shower/wet room.
All bedrooms were stripped back and fitted with custom wardrobes, including a central dressing room island with integrated drawer sets in the primary room.
To complete the transformation, the exterior was enhanced with a cedar wood courtyard and a secure upstairs roof terrace. The addition of a new balcony provides a dedicated outdoor vantage point to overlook the sea, ensuring an unobstructed view of the sea.
The living spaces were redesigned elevated by bespoke furniture including made-to-measure shelving with sourced oak tops flanking the fireplace. Walls throughout the house were enriched with decorative cladding and panelling, complemented by a new feature wall that frames the staircase.
